Loyal NKSspain blog followers will recall that last time I posted we were halfway through the students first day at language school. I contunue the story just as school ends for the day.
Little did I know that my push for London 2012 fame in the cut throat world of ping pong would inspire the students to take part in some of the best pinging and well crafted ponging that I´ve ever seen in my life.
Pictures do not do the mighty struggles that took place that day justice.
Ive added some pictures of some of the hard fought matches, look at the stunned and awed looks on the faces of the watchers.
One year 8 was heard to say, that it was as if the mighty Thor walked among us in the form of a table tennis playing teenager.
We didnt just stop at normal table tennis, pay homage to the epicness that is extreme multi player rotational ping pong.
Sadly man cannot live on table tennis alone, so we decided to nip to the local park on the way home, once there the viking child from year 8 decided that a game of volleyball was in order, filled with sports mania we all jumped at the chance.
Remember that you can view these pictures full sized by clicking on them.
Here are some nice pictures of the park as the students walked off and left me again.
After a quick trip back to the hotel, we decided that a visit to the beach for football and child burying was needed.
If by now your thinking that there is no way that we could possibly fit anymore excitement into our day, then think again...,
On are return from the beach we hurried into the lounge area of the hotel to watch Gibraltar Bob´s world of wings show.
Sadly the video of Gibraltar Bob is rather large and is taking forever to upload, I will try and put it on later, it is well worth seeing if youve never seen a large bearded man try and get a giant kingfisher to attack a child before! watch this space...
